I wouldn’t want to be a teenager today. So many ways to get yourself in trouble. 

On a side note, I feel for the girl involved. Even if it was consensual, no student/person deserves that to be made public without their consent. Cyber bullying is F$&$ed. 

 
So in California, since she was 15, that is considered assault right?  Despite consent?

And I can totally buy that Mo didn’t know it was an assault when he received and resent the video.

Edit: Holy s#!t, California has backwards laws.

And if your last sentence is sarcasm, that's crazytalk. Most people assume teenagers are allowed to have sexual activity with each other.

I think this is it - I may have misunderstood that he got it direct from one of the boys - seems like they sent it to a lot of folks, so I may have made the leap there, or it may have been reported in different detail in the initial version (it's been updated with some corrections since it was initially published)

Why are you asking me this? That's not what I'm talking about in my reply. Yes, I think rape is okay all the time, as is the filming of it. /s

And you're wrong. It's illegal for teenagers to have sex in California.

I don’t want to wade into what I think on assault being that I was 15 once.  I was talking more to just what the CA law states.  

And it it wasn’t sarcasm about Mo.  I can see where he thought it was consensual and not assault.

I agree.

As a father of a 16 month old daughter, if anything like this happened to my daughter and I deemed the video to be a rape or sexual assault, I would make damn sure that charges were pressed.

I feel as though with Mo sending her that video reminded her that she was a hoe for sleeping with two dudes while it was being videotaped, the whole school got a copy, know damn well her parents have seen it and now when someone see’s her, they’ll know her for that skank who slept with two dudes who videotaped it.

Gotcha. What I meant by the question was 15 year olds and 15 year olds, because it was my impression that nationwide, it's legal. Which was wrong.
