This is one side of the story.  I know cops usually get to tell their side and thats the one that counts, but if the kid is underage he is underage. Can you provide articles or facts for this story?

so you know for a fact he knew the video of her was when she was 15 and not 18? do we know when he received the video? Did someone send it to him recently? did he save it for 3 years on his phone and then send it to her 3 years later to spite her? we dont know squat 

You're really reaching. But even in the best case, he's still attempting to humiliate the girl by using revenge porn.

If Washington comes out and says he never sent that text, then we'll have to for an investigation. But if he sent the text, then he should be gone. Period.

I don't think he would've said "remember this" if he didn't know the situation. It'd be pretty weird to say "remember this" if it was a potentially consensual encounter from recently after she turned 18.

I think there's a lot of truth to this. Lots of people are jumping to lots of conclusions based on one side of the story.

It's a good thing that's never been shown to be a bad idea before.

If anything was going to happen, it would have happened since the fall.  Unless he is convicted and sent to prison, I dont really see him going anywhere.

California revenge porn penalties


PC 647(j)(4) makes revenge porn a misdemeanor in California law.9

The basic penalties for a first offense are:

• Misdemeanor (summary) probation;
  
• Up to six (6) months in county jail; and/or
  
• A fine of up to one thousand dollars ($1,000).10
  

But the penalties increase to up to one (1) year in county jail, and/or a fine of up to two thousand dollars ($2,000), if either of the following is true:

1. You have one (1) or more prior convictions for revenge porn or Penal Code 647 invasion of privacy; or
   
2. The victim of the revenge porn was a minor (in which case you may also need to worry about charges under California's child pornography laws).11
