I was reading Maxim Magazine today and it had an article about the 10 worst college coaches. To my surprise, Tom Osborne was number 10. I couldn't believe it. The main reason, you guessed it, Lawrence Phillips. Only a few spots away at #7 was Gary Barnett.

Here's a rundown of the list:

What does Maxim know about anything besides taking pics of women with half their clothes off. I guess Maxim would rather count 250+ wins and multiple national titles as being bad because we had a crazy player on our team for a few years.

That list overall is just a horrible list. Most of those coaches had good careers, with some mess-ups, yet it includes championships, and championship games.

I saw that in Maxim as well. My roommates and I counted about 20 other coaches that should be ahead of Tom or at the same level as Tom in that list.

I would say the same thing Maxim doesn't know anything about sports...that article was written by one of their photogs who was tired of snapping pics of naked women...

Kinda hard to see Woody Hayes and Tom Osborne as worst coach..consdering how much they won...I can possiblly see Woody Hayes since punching the other teams player is way out of line..but Osborne? What did Knight do that was so bad?

Maxim writers are here to follow the status quo and probably think "desperate housewives" is a good show...hahah
