Maybe Bill Snyder was on to something....or maybe not

Why the hell is anybody actually listening to this moron? He has 0 ties to Nebraska or the Big 12. His theory suggests we will rejoin the Big 12 and they will let Oklahoma leave and we will be happy to join because BYU Cincy and Houston will "generate more money".

This is worse than Bill Snyder ASSuming we wanted back in because he's old.

Nebraska was king of big 8 and 12. Sometimes co-Kings but always royalty.

Since joining the B1G Nebraska has only been 2nd tier. Sometimes even in their own division.

It has more to do with competitiveness, rather than conference...but it is hard to deny that NE has made more money but is down as a national brand.

I got news for you, the last 10 years in the Big XII we were 2nd tier. It's about results on the field, we start playing like kings, we'll be kings again.

 
Any P5 school looking to bail from their current conference to join the big12 dumpster fire is stupid as hell.

If these "reports" gain any traction I would hope that NU puts them to rest immediately. The big12 is a dying conference and it should remain that way.

Feels like people trying to save the sinking ship that is the big 12. I'd actually be pretty legitimately sad if a lot of huskers wanted to leave the b1g. I like you guys now.

 
Yeah when we'd be more likely to get to play Oklahoma again sometime in the B1G, and we'd go to an Oklahoma-less big 12? Everyone involved in making that decision would deserve to not only be fired, but kicked out of the state permanently.

 
Why does this sh#t come up every year? Oh yeah. Cuz guys like this rummage thru random message boards and see a couple posts by ppl wishing we were still in the Big 12 so 9 wins would be easier and the drive to Manhatten isnice and short.

The real question is when the Big 12 folds does the B1G look to bring in an OU or KU (purely for their basketball prowess)?

 
The funniest thing about this whole deal is, that its pretty common sense that one of the extremely few legit reasons we'd go back to the Big12 is to get to play Oklahoma again. Well, this report throws that out. LOL.
