Maybe The Big 10 Has A Secret Plan

My the original post is a result of too much sugar (alcohol induced ) causing the ADHD popcorn maker in his head to go to overdrive.

(if you have ADHD - you'll know what I mean)

College sports in football-as-religion States like Texas, Michigan, and Florida will never go away.

But that doesn’t mean that it won’t shrink down and end careers of many dedicated professionals due to permanent changes in the college sports world.

Right now, planners are sketching out possible futures for college athletics in a changed world. Options are being game-theory’d out.

The biggest game ever in college sports is going on right now. It’s not going on at a field or court but in paneled offices and Zoom meetings. The future of college sports is on the line, and some programs are going to make it and some are going to slowly fade away.

I've very uneasy with the thought (proposal) that a small group of leaders is deciding  the future for college athletes and the alumni that support them.  In general I don't trust the "Masters of the Universe" to make decisions in secret to control our future.
