Corey sounds like a whipped puppy. Him and the blackshirts need to get the swagger back. I think the thing most lacking on the defense is confidence in each other, themselves and their individual assignments.

That brings up an interesting question - what is it that made the defense such whipped puppies? I don't believe it's just the poor play from the Wake Forest game and the next two games. I have to think it's more behind the scenes stuff.

Comes from the coaches down. Guarantee it. If the coaches weren't spewing this crap to them or at least telling them to suck it up and start ballin' then the coaches are to blame.

or at least they're not teaching them to ignore the public and concentrate on the task at hand, i.e., go out there and play football with everything you've got. Let the fans worry about themselves.

Yeah this is weak by McKeon. Sounds like a completely different person. Now on and off the field so something really must be up. He whines about how they're being treated like they're 0-4...well guess what buddy? You of all people should know how lucky we are to even be 3-1. For crying out loud, wipe your tears, get mad and make a play out there for once. If he doesn't understand why we're pissed off with the defense, then he cleary can't see what kind of trouble we're in if our defense is giving up this much before conference play. Wake up Corey.

Keller certainly does not make a fool of himself. He is poised and well-spoken. I only wish we had him for more than just one year.
