Met Mikael Wilbon's Family Yesterday

Was walking south from the stadium when I saw a group all wearing jerseys with his name on them, so I asked if they were related. Had both his grandparents, parents, brother and sister in a group. Had a good conversation about their son, how he seemed to play really well, and asked them about Chicago while finding out that they're well connected to a church that my church partners with on the south side of the city.

They were so happy for him. They were in such a good mood because they loved the environment so much. They were so thankful of people having nice things to say about him, and so excited about it that they said they would forward it on to help give him confidence and encouragement. Really good people overjoyed that their family member has been given such a precious opportunity.

Just a very cool moment and a good perspective I thought I'd share. I believe this is what we're still about, folks.

That's awesome. He looks like he may have the brightest future as of right now.

Does anyone know if Ozigbo appeared? Special teams?

Was this before or after the game? You could have mentioned how he needs to work on picking up blitzes... and nice running:)

Cool. I was impressed with Wilbon's running in the game. Glad his family had a good time at the game.

I think Wilbon & Ozigbo will be the two best backs. I did like how the coaches appeared to be giving all the RBs a chance, but I didn't like how often they were substituting. Give whoever you put in a series or two to see what they can do. Don't sub a RB after a couple plays. That was driving me crazy, especially when they were taking out a player who just made a few nice runs. I specifically remember Wilbon being replaced after getting back to back plays of about five yards each, and then Cross when he was just started to turn green.
