Miami Rumble

The worst part of all that was the Miami players running off the field trying to get the crowd fired up. They were happy to be idiots. Miami is back!

 
The announcer is Lamar Thomas who was a cocky WR for the "U". He graduated around 1992 so he should be around 38 years old. What a joker.

"Nobody comes into the OB and does that. They deserve a beat-down."

 
What a mess. I totally agree both teams should have been sent home and each awarded a loss. I think the thugs should be kicked out of school and sent packing. I don't see a need for second chances.

Mike and Mike in the Morning on ESPN 2 had a huge deal about this. They had Vitale, Herbstreet and a couple other people talk about and they said that both football programs should cancel their season and some of those players should be let go from their scholarship and be made to pay their own way through college.

At the very least, that game should have been over. What's sad is, they are proud of their own ignorance. Coker just printed his pink slip after that disaster. Not only what happened, but his reaction, or lack there of.

I usually don't get corny like that, but why in the world would you ever applaude behavior like that. Fists are one thing, but throwing helmits, stomping on people, etc. is beyond the unwritten code of fighting in athletics.

That's like a baseball player swinging his bat at another person. A hockey player slashing someone with his skate. You don't do it.

I heard that FIU kicked a few members off of their team (maybe out of school) and have suspended other for longer than the one game suspension that they got from their conference. Maybe Miami should take notice on how their new crosstown rival is handling this situation.
