I don't know exactly what to make of the Michigan State vs USC game. Like, lots of stats to break down but I don't know what big conclusions to draw.

USC ran for 289 yards on them for 7.2 yards per carry. And then they threw for another 234. So obviously USC's offense deserves a ton of credit.

On offense, Aidan Chiles went 12/21 throwing the ball but somehow wound up accounting for four total touchdowns. Which is impressive, but on the ground as a team they were unimpressive (with 112 yards at 3.5 yards per pop).

Just going off those offensive stats alone in that one isolated game it looks like we'd match up well against them on defense. But we have to play tighter to the box.

I watched it, Michigan State @ USC and Michigan @ Nebraska games

USC 45 MSU 31. Kinda tight until 5 minutes to go .....

Chiles vs. Underwood stats. Both dual-threat

Chiles Passing: C/ATT: 12/21 ..... YDS: 212 ...... TD: 3 ...... PICKS: 0
Underwood Passing: C/ATT: 12/21 ..... YDS: 105 ...... TD: 0 ...... PICKS: 0

Chiles Rushing: CAR: 10 ...... YDS: 40 ...... TD: 1
Underwood Rushing: CAR: 8 ...... YDS: 60 ...... TD: 1

Both on a bye week. Both coming off loses against some great teams.

Huskers might be feeling angry and wanting to rip some Sparty heads off.

But, it won't matter much if MSU runs the ball and their QB scrambles around.

Before season I saw this an auto win for NU. Right now I think we might be in for a fight and possible long day just to eek out a win.

This won’t be an easy game. I watched USC vs Michigan State game. USC has a ton of weapons and speed. Very improved on Defense. Spartans are salty and tough. Smith is a great coach as well. I see this game as 50/50 toss up close score.
