Midseason Predictions for the Rest of the Season

Well, the season is half over, anyone have any (bold) predictions for the rest of the season?

Here are mine:

  • Burkhead finishes with 20+ TD's total and is an All B1G pick.
  • Stanley Jean-Baptiste develops into a servicable starting corner opposite Dennard.
  • Terrence Moore steps up big time and plays great down the stretch.
  • Bo goes back to more 4-2-5 adding some comfort level back to the defense.
  • Taylor Martinez continues to improve and completes around 55% of his passes from here on.

 
Martinez will settle down and become the greatest pocket passer since Dan Fouts. And he will grow full beard.

 
Nebraska beats Washington in the Rose Bowl

SJB gets honorable mention All-BIG

Camstache finishes with 10.5 sacks

Lavonte David opens a Chick-fil-A in downtown Lincoln.

 
Our defense gets much better and looks bright for the future.

Martinez not only starts completing more and more passes, but finishes at 61.3% completion.

We win all, but one game and get to the B1G championship game and beat Wisconsin, but 10 points.

Our offense finishes in the Top 2 in the B1G by the end of the year.

Together the two of them willl come up with the ultimate offensive game plan for the game of table tennis, and will be an offensive juggernaut that the Chinese government will put a million dollar bounty out on their heads.

Alright I'll take a crack at it:

-Eric Martin starts at OLB the rest of the year and sheds a few of those lbs that he gained. Against spread teams, Ciante will start in his place as nickel

-SJB starts the rest of the year at CB and gets 30 tackles and 2 more picks

-Jamal Turner throws a TD pass from the WR position

-Aaron Green breaks a run of 50+ yds

-Taylor gets 2nd team all-B1G

-We lose to Wisconsin in the CCG and go on to play a BCS game vs. an SEC team (Bama)

-Martinez finishes with 1,000 yards rushing.

-Nebraska makes to the CCG game, and gets beat by the Badgers.

-Nebraska makes a BCS game as an at-large.

Taylor Martinez continues to improve as a decision-maker and a passer.

Burkhead continues to dominate like he has been.

Nebraska outscores all of its remaining opponents in the second half.

The defense steps up and gets better week by week.

College Game Day visits Lincoln.

Nebraska plays and beats Wisconsin in the inaugural B1G Championship game/

We meet Oregon in the Rose Bowl [oh that would be fun]
