Mike Golic Jr to Notre Dame

The son of former Notre Dame and NFL player Mike Golic became the first commit of the 2008 Notre Dame class. It was a given. He made the announcement on his dad's radio show this morning. I was surprised to see Nebraska was also among his favorite schools.

Mike Golic Jr., whose father played for Notre Dame from 1981 - 1984 and then in the NFL, has committed to head coach Charlie Weiss and the Fighting Irish.

Golic Sr. reported his son's decision on his television show, Mike and Mike in the Morning, Tuesday on ESPN2.

I actually liked Mike Sr when he hosted a local radio show down in Phoenix, before he sold out and went to espSUX.

he always had good things to say about NU on his show down there.

it is no suprise that his son is going to ND

kind of like Ty and Baker

 
I don't mind listing to Mike and Mike in the morning on ESPN 2 or ESPN radio. He is pretty honest about how he feels on most subjects.
