Mike Leach to Washington State

This is good news. I like Leach. Dreaded playing against him, but respected his coaching acumen. He's a perfect fit in the Pac-12. Should be entertaining to watch Leach vs Kiffin. Air raid game.

Pac-12 is going to be really interesting with Kelly, Leach and Rich Rod. I think this will work really good for Wazzu since they have two good QB's and just built a new club level onto their stadium that needs filling.

This knocks Kansas out of the water a bit. I think they were hoping Leach would be a Jawhawk from all I've read. This might set their timetable back a few weeks....or months.

This is a great hire by Wazzu. With his offense and a servicable QB and WR's he will beat some people next fall. If you think about it, Pullman is kinda like the Lubbuck of Washington. Away from the state population, a "little brother" kind of school, no direct flights to airport from other school. Hell it will be like home for the guy.

He just seems like the kind of guy that would take this kind of job over a "bigger name" school. I think he loves being at a "underdog" school and making them competitve.

Also, WSU is not going to be a school where they are worried about a politically correct coach.

Put money on it now, WSU goes bowling next year.
