That's what I was thinking. He had to know who he is bringing because I would imagine any big DC would have some guys they would want.

Now I'm getting disappointed in these hires.

One of the questions Riley had before coming here was if Eichorst would provide him the resources he never had in Corvallis. Eichorst promised him that he would give him every resource he could, and he'd work to get anything he couldn't get immediately.

Taking up a coaching spot with a guy who has no recruiting ability in Read isn't the best idea. Bringing Banker when he is likely the least heralded guy on his entire staff isn't the best idea.

To a point, I can understand it. Hire some guys you trust, and you know their expertise. But just basically bringing your entire staff with you when you specifically asked for more resources in Lincoln? Use that open check book and get the best staff humanly possible to surround yourself with.

I will have to consider this hire average to below average if he brings the DC to be DC here. Sounds like even OSU fans wanted him run out of town b/c of how bad their Defense was so i have a hard time believing hes gonna do any better here.

That was Bo's failing, too.
