Mike Shula = HC ???

I love all these "sources". Ya I'm sure some are actually legit but this?

No way does Neb hire a guy that got canned at his last job and makes folks think they maybe should've hired Croom instead.

Hell Gill has a better resume than Shula. At least Gill's brief tenure at Buffalo can be considered a success.

 
OK, my source says that Shula is in fact interested in the job. While his won/loss at Bama wasn't the greatest, apparently he was dealing with a loss of scholarships there due to a previous coach's ineptitude. Plus, Shula brings a lot of class to the sideline which may be why T.O. is interested.

 
Not trying to be a d!(k but being interested in a job is different than the folks doing the hiring being interested in you. Shula did have some things working against him but he is going to have to take a lower-level HC job, prove himself, then go for a Nebraska-type job.

NO! I just moved to NY from LA (lower alabama) and had to watch 'Bama football with my sister in law every weekend. Shula was fired for the same reasons that Callahan is about to be. The only reason he was HC was because of his Dad and his ties to the program. Trust me, we DON'T want him.
