Is there a limit on how many players can dress in conference games? Maybe Bunch and Masker weren't even dressed out.

I don't think there is a limit for home games.  Travel rosters have a limit of 74 for visiting teams in conference games.

Did anybody ask Frost about putting McCaffrey in for a single play when you're trying to keep him to 4 games max?

If McCaffrey is truly 3rd string he won't see 4 games this year.

All I know is I was damn frustrated when Vedral’s helmet came off on the friggen first play in the game.....and we needed him.

i don't get the loose helmet thing - maybe it protects the neck.

5 years ago it happened all the time. That's why they made the rule. 

Modern helmets have a slot in the ear pad to allow your ear to slide through easier. That may be why they pop off more. Gone are the days of sore ears and stretching the helmet around you head to spare your ears.

not seeing replay..it seemed like his helmet came off cause a dude rolled up on his head while on the ground...which if so this rule should not apply

I think a lot of it is guys don't like getting their chin straps as tight as they should be.

These guys dont want to be uncomfortable.  If you can take your helmet off with one hand it doesn't fit correctly.  Some of these guys have bigger helmets so they can fit their hair in there

In high school, we had to cut our hair short before they fit the helmets. Obviously not a thing in college or the pros, but I bet it'd help helmets stay on at a minimum.
