Minnesota: What Did We Learn?

Honestly, the team lost me in the third quarter of the Michigan State game. They looked helpless. Been a fan for 60 years and I said to myself "I can't do this anymore."

Of course they won me back completely over the next 15 minutes, then had me feeling pretty darned good using their new closers instinct to beat Maryland. I convinced myself that something felt different this season. Had a really cautious feeling about Minnesota, but didn't expect a full bed-crapping.

They have to win two of the next five - any two - just to tread water, and a bowl win would allow for actual optimism.

But I know I will end up watching every game for the rest of my life.
we're all sadists bro, we live for this week in and week out lol

I haven’t been “satisfied” with the product all year. Cincy was early. The next two were garbage teams.

I’m sitting this week out. I won’t watch or listen. This will be the first time in my life I miss a game broadcast without a reason. I’ll just mow.

I went to Arrowhead and Minnesota. Last Friday I was embarrassed to even be sitting there.

I’m tired of being taken advantage of by the football program. I found my rock bottom. Week to week for me from this point forward. I’ve become one of those people I’ve always laughed at.

Did someone mention Bo?!?!?!?! :)
Those days are gone bro. 😁 You were younger, got laid more and got some hand jobs. No wonder you miss it !

The Lincoln trips and the bars were packed. Good times and Easy to get ACE 9 out of 13 weekends. 😁

And those other 4 weekends was more drinks, empathy, and damage control.

I'll bet people got engaged during those years, or started a family, and of course think back with fond memories.

Me personally, there's no need to go back to the millions of threads we all discussed in real time back in 2008-2014. That was 10 to 17 years ago right here on the board lol.

Dude you are not kidding about the packed bars. I can totally remember having to get to a sports bar a good 3-4 hours before the game just to get a big table. Not anymore!

That was such a bad call. It still makes no sense.

In theory the defense could just lay on the ground and the offense would not be able to touch them...then they could pop up and make the tackle.
Watching it again, the defender was getting back up when he hit him. I do think he was an idiot for hitting him in the head though. Linemen fall on each other all the time but when he dove helmet first at his head, he made a mistake. I'm still not sure how the referee saw the original play since his back was turned.

you wanna just come out and say “I am content with our o line play”. Nearly every week you post an obscure ranking or metric from a different source making the case the o line is fine

Can you just make it easier for simple minded folks like me and explicitly say “I don’t have an issue with our line and satisfied with the level of play”?
