Missouri is the must win game

ok, to restore the order, it goes like this. win the Big 12 north, win the Big 12 champ game, win your bowl game and push for a BCS berth.

this year, THE BEST we can hope for is to win the north (unless someone sprinkles fairy dust on the whole team) IMO.

to not win the north would be a definite step backward, there can be no argument there. it would be a huge disappointment, especially with all the expectations in the pre season.

right or wrong, outgunned/outmanned, out played/out coached if we don't find a way to win the north division we just plain SUCK!

I agree that we must win this game and I really think that we will win it. Our offense is a better than their offense and their defense is worse than ours. We need to win all of our conference games and win the Big XII this year for this season to be a success IMO.

Absoutely!!! Especially since all the talk/expectation was to definitely win the north with hopes of actually winning the Big 12 and going to a BCS game (I pictured as a dream and slightly possible). Anything less than winning the north is a HUGE disappointment and a BIG step back considering we will have less talent/experience next year at key positions.

Yes. If we don't win the north it will be hard to believe that we've made progress over last year. Missouri is getting some respect so beating them would be give some satisfaction. Maybe the problems seen in our earlier games are getting fixed. On the other hand, if we lose the problems in previous games look more like systemic problems than fixable issues. Losing will only raise more questions about if we're moving forward. It will be harder to believe our season isn't going to tank.

I'm hoping that our defense just shows up and plays decent. If they do that I think our offense can get the job done. Our guys know how big of a game this is.
