Former Nebraska cornerback Joshua Mitchell is getting a crack at the Canadian Football League.
Mitchell was among four defenders signed this week by the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. Mitchell spent last season on the injured reserve list with the Indianapolis Colts.
The 5-foot-11, 160-pound Mitchell was signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent after the 2015 NFL Draft, but injured his knee in May and spent the season on the team’s injured reserve list.
