Well, allow me to be of service, my good sir. Next to the #1 there is nothing listed. Nothing at all. It's a blank line. And that's because our good friends down south-away haven't won squat by way of major bowl wins, conference titles and/or national titles. In 40 years.

And yet the mouths run and run and run from some fans. You'd think they'd take some clue from the classier guys like Fro, but no.

It's all good, though. We're well on our way to stealing Fro from those potzers and making him really truly a Husker fan.

Once again, Husker fans step into the time machine to help justify the general suckiness of their team. While you bask in the glory years, the Tigers will once again be taking the Nubs to the woodshed on national TV. And once again, Husker Nation will be collectively jumping off rooftops and wondering what the hell went wrong.

who is living in a time machine here? apparently you think that the chases, maclin, pigg and the rest of the boys are suiting up saturday....... and you think that Billy boy is still in charge here. I'm not saying we are going to win(i think we will) but I can promise you that if you expect the same NU teams from the last 2 years to show up, you are going to be greatly disappointed(and need to by a TV)

so unless you are telling me that MU has improved 20+ points from last year........(I have seen them enough this year to know that is not the case)

Really? He had (as of the time I reviewed them) a total of 31 posts. Almost all of them are either conclusory statements or just plain flaming or trolling. Tim, I understand protecting your own, but even the most charitable description of almost all of his posts doesn't even begin to rise to the level of "educated". You, fro, and the majority of MU fans have posted educated opinions. He has not come close. The only thing he has come close to is a ban for violating the Board's rules against flaming/trolling. If he wants to stay and actually engage in constructive debate, we'll welcome him just as we welcome you (and please note that for the most part you and the other MU fans have been welcomed - not simply tolerated). If he simply wants to talk smack, he needs to take it to the Woodshed. Otherwise, he's about worn out his welcome.

This, except for calling Tim's posts "educated".... Flaming and homer-ism is not educated. He attempts it at times, but is more so just being a homer more so than anything else.

anyone know any Mizzou message boards? I'm curious as to what the little kittens are posting these days.

For paid boards, try PowerMizzou.com. For free boards, Tigerboard.com is easily the best. People that are used to the cookie cutter message board format get thrown by it at first, but it's got definite advantages with the thread format resulting in a more natural debate flow. The only problem is that it's such a busy board posts only last a few hours before they're dead.

As with any popular board, there are flamers, trollers and intelligent posters. The impression you make will go a long way toward which kind respond to you.

The general feeling on the Tigerboard is that Nebraska presents a serious challenge. Generally it's divided into two camps. A small camp of pessimists thinks we'll lose 4 or 5 games in conference and get a minor bowl. Most people feel like we're more talented than Nebraska based on recent history and will win a competitive game. But I don't think a loss would shock anyone.

go look over there and look, then come back and say that again. it is a crap board free or not. i have posted over there and it is ridiculous. ask Dan_F im sure he will tell you the same!

huskerboard is an awesome board that is well organized and has good guidelines and discussion. over there it is a bunch of name calling and whining..

Dudes, even the oddmakers, you know the people who know more and care more about CFB then anyone else because their lives depend on it, are not all that sold on Mizzo. The line is -1 Mizzo, Hell, even Mizzo probably gets 3 points just for playing at home.

That means that the 'Skers are basically being picked by Vegas to win, you know Vegas, the only outlet that has NO AGENDA AT ALL.

So if the only outlet that has no agenda at all and that is not a fan of either team is saying that both teams are equal even while playing at Mizzo, well that tells you a lot Mizzo fan.

Now I get it, you will come here with your "Mizzo was dogged by 7 when they played the Illini" smack, I know, but as any gambler will tell you the first three weeks of CFB lines are a freaking mystery, thats when gamblers get a chance to make money and Vegas is just trying to stay even.
