MLB 2019 Season

Saw this on the news yesterday.  They said Papi's friend, last name Hernandez I think, was the target, and always sat at the same chair at the same restaurant on the same day every week. 

Seems to me, if you're mixed up in something, might want to change up your habits a bit.  Be just a little less predictable maybe.  

 
That's so weird.  I love the idea of bringing baseball back to Montreal, but splitting a single team between two towns is just odd.  Will be interesting how they do this.  I'm sure Tampa fans won't be happy.

Tampa fans aren't showing up to games anyway.  Through 38 home games they are 29th out of 30 teams (ahead of only Miami) in average attendance, and that's with the team doing very well.

Short answer is the owners were invested with Bernie Madoff so they "getting" massive returns on their investments.  So Instead of paying him a lot at the time they paid him a lesser amount over a bunch of years, counting on their investment gains to cover the cost.
