At this point, MLB retains Angel as an ump purely for entertainment reasons.  He has no noticeable officiating value at all.

Sounds like Drew Gilbert is heading to New York. He was Houston's top draft pick a couple years ago and I believe is their #1 prospect in the minors.

I honestly have no idea why they allow him anywhere near the field. I wouldn't want him officiating at kids games.
