Somewhere, presumably in the deepest reaches of the Kansas State football offices, sits John McCardle's Texas Bowl ring.

"After I decided to quit, he (coach Ron Prince) kicked me out of the building and wouldn't give me my bowl ring," McCardle said. "It was the Texas Bowl and we lost . . . but it's the principle of it."

I would think stories like that would get around to potential recruits - and would give them something to consider as a factor against KSU.

Which, perhaps, is why they had to go so heavily in the JUCO route this year...

 
This is unbelievable.....I cannot believe how much of an idiot Princess truly is. How much longer will KSUcks put up with his crappy coaching and personal attributes?

Important to note, McCardle actually quit BEFORE the bowl game. It may be a small point, but he actually was not a member of the team when the bowl was played....by his own choice.

no no that was this year, they went bowling in 06. so he did go to the bowl game.

 
Something must have happened that is not being told. I believe the rings are personal property and if he really wanted that ring he could get it no matter what that nuttbag thiks or does. Leagaly that is his property. He should call the authorities and demand it. Now that would get in the news all over. <_<

Depends if the Athletic dept. will want to cross Prince. He is well known for his temper tantrums.

Prince is a serious train wreck starting to happen. It's kind of amusing though.

 
Prince will be gone after this year. He should never have been given this job in the first place and now that his AD is no longer around he is toast. I love it just for the Freeman crap alone and all the B.S. he pulled during that trainwreck.
