More Shows Coming To Memorial Stadium

It's probably long overdue that Memorial Stadium was used more frequently. We have a LOT of newer hotels downtown that need more big events coming to town.

When I was pretty young I remember there was hope that the Beatles would perform at the stadium. I don't know if those discussions were serious but it never did happen.

Red Dirt Country. Boys from Oklahoma is the name of the tour, not the bands. Cross Canadian Ragweed and Turnpike Troubadours are a couple of the popular bands involved. They will fill the stadium easily.

Yes, Evan Felker and his bandmates were here for the State Fair last year, Lincoln in '23 and the Omaha Metro in '22. I guess it's a credit to Nebraskans that they support the band. I'll take this over Luke "Shake it for the catfish" Bryan nonsense any day.
