Interesting, thanks for posting. So apparently South Dakota loves Stanford? Weird. There's NU fans, Iowa fans and what's that third team for NE?

.001% of the population responded from only 25% ofthe counties?

This needs to be taken with so many grains of salt, you'll have an aneurysm from the high blood pressure.

naaa....I'm not buying that just northwest of Lincoln there are counties that are more Hawkeye than Husker.

I didn't realize that KSU had that distinct of an advantage over KU in fans. And I didn't realize that Iowa had such a distinct edge over ISU fans.

In both instances, I figured about a 50/50 split.

Living in west river SD I have never seen Stanford merchandize worn by anyone, Lots of huskers, Iowa, I know OSU, LSU, bama, Wisconsin, and florida fans. But no Standford

Re: South Dakota

The entire state of SD had a total of 4 respondents from only 2 different counties.

3 from 1 county picked nebraska, and 1 from another county picked SD state.

That is your actual data. The Stanford "picks" are from simulation.

Like I said earlier, many grains of salt...

That's probably because they don't. I recommend taking a gander at the actual data before drawing conclusions, if any. The samples are too small to conclude anything significant.

there are 4 types of fans in kansas; wichita state fans, ku fans, k-state fans and state of kansas fans. the last one, they just follow whichever school is good at the sport being played.

Dang, I was hoping for a better punchline...

...like from An Officer and a Gentleman, "...only two kinds of people from Oklahoma..."
