MU is getting a big head

was visiting my brother in the KC area, and was reading the KC star......It was pretty funny. saying things like how they could beat anyone in the big 12, and that Oklahoma should be considered an underdog coming into their game. i cant wait to play them in 2 weeks

 
we're gonna friggin' kill the tiger cubs!!!!

then the Huskers will be down to KC a few weeks later where I'll get to witness them getting revenge on Texas!!

I was at a party in St Joseph MO on Saturday with several MU fans, and they weren't very confident about their chances in Lincoln after seeing how well NU played Texas at home. The Star is just pumping sunshine.

That's good to hear that way when we stomp them they will be shocked and in disbelief!!!! I got the time off of work for the Big 12 Champ game all I'm waiting for is us to beat Mizzou so I can buy my tickets!!! :bonez

 
"fan" is probably derived from fanatic. "Fanatic" is "marked by excessive enthusiasm and often intense uncritical devotion." It's not surprising that Mizzou fans are nuts over Mizzou and it's not surprising that NU fans don't understand why Mizzou fans are nuts over Mizzou and not NU. It's just odd.

Is that a triple negative? I've been trying to figure-out what that means and my head is spinning.

I would think that MU fans, deservedly, should feel confident about their team's chances in Lincoln. They beat Okie State and played Texas A & M tough (should of won, IMO) on the road. They have a real decent quarterback and a potent offense. I don't think they will beat Oklahoma; but, if they do, they will be coming into Lincoln very hyped. Essentially, the game will probably determine the B-12 North champ.

 
Are you kidding?!? Of course they have a big head!!! They won the conference title in...ummm...well, I'm sure they'll prevail someday in the modern era. :hmmm :hmmm :hmmm

 
Mizzou scored 41 points on the same defense we scored 21 on. Also, Louisville only scored 24 on. hmm...

I'm not overlooking Missouri yet, yes they lost to A&M, but I think A&M is better than most people give them credit for.

I believe Missouri will beat Oklahoma in a close game.
