found around 100 or so the one day i went out at the end of last week in SE Nebraska, YUM!

Linoma Beach along the Platte used to be pretty good place for them.

1. i guess my a-hole grandpa was some expert mushroom finder... my dad told me lots of stories about his treks.....

2. only mushrooms i hunted where the kind that sprung up in the morning after a rain and humid conditions near the ranch...... clean em off and then enjoy the ride.....
