ADI KUNALIC...who?

You know I haven't read anything about this kid..don't know where hes from but boy does he have a leg. That 46 yard field goal was the prettiest thing I have seen for awhile.. Not to mention FIVE touchbacks, this kid is the real deal and he is going to be a real useful tool against tougher competition. If we can start our opponents offense on the 20 after every score then that is a huge boost for our defense. It brings back memories of Kris Brown sending it through the uprights..oh yeah, did I mention that he kicked a 46 yard field goal???? :w00t

I was just in amazement with the touchbacks. EVERY KICKER THAT I'VE SEEN THIS WEEKEND DIDN'T SEEM TO HAVE THE LEG ADI DID. All i have to say is it's about dagnabit time. With all this talk about kickoffs being moved back to the 30 and how much 'it's going to effect returns' it feels f'ing wonderful to have a kicker like him...and he's only a freshman!

 
I was so glad to see that he not only was getting it deep, but like you all said, kicking it OUT of the endzone. I was explaining the kickoff change to my roommate (she's a girl, not from NE) and I was starting to get a little worried about our kick coverage. NO MORE WORRIES NOW!

On the other side of things, the extra five yards seemed to play pretty well into our kick return game. That one that Grixby had was looking pretty damn good!

 
Adi was awesome! Me and my friends at the game were going crazy after ever touch back and when he made that 46 yarder! Felt kinda weird cheering for a kicker like that. Ha. But I could see him being the difference in a game later on down the road that becomes a field position type game. Its nice to have someone like that. He is a weapon!

 
As amazing as Lucky, Castille, and the O-Line were, Kunalic's performance was possibly even more pleasing to see. This is going to be a good year.

The whole stadium went nuts when he hit that 46 yarder. I've never heard a stadium go nuts over a kick that had no bearing on the game whatsoever.
