Five-Star Recruit
Well, I left Lincoln about 12:30. The drive was fine, a lot of husker fans on I-29 on their way to KC. We got to the KC area and got on I-435 because we thought that would be a better way to get to the stadium. Well it turned out that traffic was backed up for miles, so we bailed on got on some KC roads and navigated our way through the sidestreets and found I-70. We waited in traffic for about 25 minutes, and went and parked. I met up with my friend for a tailgate party before the game. So I just hung out, ate some food, and everything was going fine. We went into the game about an hour before kickoff and waited for the game to start.
Then everything went downhill starting with Purify's fumble. I'm not going to give my thoughts on the game because I'm sure they have already been repeated over and over again on this board. I left the game after Taylor's last pick so I wouldn't have to hear boomer sooner when the game was over. So we get to the car to drive to the Drury Inn in St. Joes. It took us forever to get out of the parking lot. We went out some weird way and we had no idea where we were. So we drove in circles for about 45 minutes before we finally found the interstate. Then on the way there we were hungry so we stopped at Denny's. They forgot about our order and that took about an hour. So after that we continued on to St. Joes to the Drury Inn where we have a reservation.
We get there, and there are a couple other Husker fans waiting at the desk. I don't what is going on, and why we can't just get our key and go to our room cause I was really tired. So after a few minutes of waiting, this lady is saying that 'theres something wrong with the computer so they can't get us a key'. Then I hear her talking to the f**king Comfort Inn and thats when I know somethings wrong. I ask the Huskers fans how long they have been at the desk and they say about 45 minutes. So I ask the lady, "are there any empty rooms in this hotel, yes or no." She says there aren't. So its 2 am and we get stiffed by this f**king piece of s**t hotel and have to drive back to Lincoln. We finally get back at 4 am and I can finally go to sleep.
