My trip to Lincoln

I am from Chicago and get to Lincoln once a year if I am lucky. I got to go to the colorado game this year. I had an outstanding time and it reminded me of how much I would like to go to Lincoln for every home game.

A few obsevations

The N Zone makes the worst bloody mary ever, however their wings are still outstanding.

Iguanas was my old college hangout and has made some alterations since my last trip. It was great to spend some time there. I enjoyed finding all the old grafitti in the bathroom I used to read. I also liked looking at college girls.

I sat in North Stadium. I was less than impressed with getting to my seats and walking around underneath. It took way to long to get to my seat. I almost missed the tunnel walk after getting to the stadium at 2:00. The screen is impressive, but they need to work on a way for people to get to their seats better.

Colorado fans are still a$$hole$. One sat behind me and was a complete jacka$$. He was lucky Husker fans are classy fans.

Still not used to seeing the forward pass in Lincoln.

Overall a great weekend really looking forward to my next trip.

18 wings and one hotdog at the Nzone. Nachos at Iguanas

Would have a better performance but I only get there once a year.

if you want some good hot wings, plan on going to the Fiesta Bowl and go to Native New Yorker. There are quite a few in the "Valley of the Sun". The original owner was from Buffalo N.Y.

No way in hell am I going to be able to make it to the Fiesta Bowl..........I already had to twist the wife's arm to go to the Big XII game in KC.......now if we go to the National Championship again in the near future you can bet I'll be there..... :woo

 
someone on the board lives in Chandler AZ, it is close, maybe he could pack some up on dry ice and mail them to you. wouldnt be as good as hot from the fryer, but they would still be awesome

:rollin :rollin If I work the off-duty work she's cool with it, but if it comes out of our savings or something like that she fights me some.......
