My week is over

TigerNuts

Four-Star Recruit
Heading out of here for the day, looking forward to a great game. I, of course, like our chances, but there is almost no outcome that would surprise me. Yes, I will come back at least once to gloat or make excuses, depending on the outcome of the game :)

35-24 good guys

Good luck!

Do you really think Nebraska is going to score 35 points?

You know what?

As much as I can't stand living in Nebraska and hate the Huskers, I'm going to miss playing you guys every year.

This will be my third visit to Memorial Stadium.

I'm used to crowds in my hometown of St. Louis at multiple sporting venues where you run the risk of getting your butt kicked in if you root for the opposing team. I was expecting something similar to that in my first visit to Lincoln in 2006. Didn't happen....in fact, some of you overly polite individuals said, "Have a good game". Shocked me.

I was on the field for the last 5-10 minutes in 2008 behind the Tiger bench, getting my picture with Truman the Tiger. Once again, treated with respect.

Don't know what to expect this year...probably more of the same.

I'll miss the rivalry and the anticipation of this game every year.

Good luck to the Huskers...after this game. ;)
