Name of Husker vs Hawkeye rivalry?

The Kinnick Trophy. Along with the obvious, Iowa's Kinnick Stadium, Nile also played at Omaha Benson.

"Nile was a first-team all-state selection in both football and basketball as a senior, as he started for one year with his brother Ben at the Benson High School in Omaha. He led Benson to a third place finish in the state basketball and to the city baseball championship."

Omaha Northwest High School also named there stadium, Kinnick Stadium.

This is a no-brainer to me.

Lets call it, the "you think the black friday fights at wal-mart were this bad wait till you see this one" bowl.

Seriously though..... we could call it "The battle for the CornBelt."

The winner would get a trophy shaped like a belt. WWF size.

.... Doing the Aaron Rodgers belt impression now.
Sorry Scott missed your post

Does Iowa Fan share our fascination with making this a rivalry? It almost seems like we're one step from circling this game in red on our calendars like Colorado did with Nebraska in the McCartney era.
I think the fascination comes from:

-a little excitement of having a new "rival" to replace the non-rivalry vs Colorado.

-our newness to the Big TEN concept of rivalries with names &/or trophies.

-most importantly, its the offseason. all topics are going to be exagerrated.

I like Farmagedden but anything works. As long as the name doesn't come from the same folk that came up with Legends/Leaders...

Was it Sipple that suggested the "Corn Belt" as a reward? like a wrastlin' belt. I don't know what to think of that idea.
