Anyone catch this last night? I'm a big fan of the movie so I'll for sure watch it each week. The first ep was decent. They did a lot of just redoing old lines from movie, which is expected especially in the first ep. I hope they wll be creative with this and come up w/ new/fresh great lines/material.

The commercials looked HORRIBLE. I watched a few minutes, and as expected, i changed the channel.

Fox is pulling at strings with the crap they keep putting on TV from the Allen Gregory show to Napolean Dynamite.

 
Well the first ep was written by the same guys that wrote the movie. I see the 2nd ep isn't. Couldn't find anything on any after there. Being a TV show it won't be able to be paced as slow as the movie...which is part of what made the movie great. Maybe it woudl have been better to make a sequel. I would only want a sequel if they took their time and did it right...and not just have it be a rip off of the original...like Hang Over 2 was.

 
I watched, hoping it would make me like the movie.

I guess if you have to MAKE yourself like something it should be a vegetable.

 
I've never seen the movie, but the quality of the artwork in the cartoon looks really bad from the commercials.

I get that visuals aren't always the main focus, but this seems like a shoddy, maybe almost purposefully so, effort.

All fox cartoons are like that.

You should def watch the movie...for sure before the cartoon. THe movie is actually better the 2nd and 3rd time you see it. That all said...don't go in w/ high expectations. I actually saw it in the threatre not knowing much about it. I just thought the trailer was very unique, odd, quirky so I thought it may be a diamond in the rough. Sort of like how I surprised by Bottle Rocket.

Was Beavis and Butthead on Fox? I never really got into that show either, but the lazy artwork seems familiar. On the other hand, The Simpsons is beautifully done and even Family Guy (and its spinoffs) are not bad, either.

King of the Hill was torture to look at, even in commercials.

 
This show will join Allen Gregory and the Bob cook show and all the other show son Fox that are worthless compared to the Simpsons and Family Guy.

Bring back King of the Hill.

No Beavis and Butthead have always been on MTV.

It' funny that you mentioned Beavis and Butthead because I thought that they stole a lot of jokes from them and obviously they went for the same type of artwork.

I liked the movie, but the cartoon is terrible. It won't last very long.

King of the hill is done as long as he's making Beavis and Butthead. For some reason he will only do one at a time.

Beavis and BUtthead were MTV and done by MIke Judge...who also did King of the Hill. I wouldn't be surprised if they same people are doing the drawings for ND.

Napoleon Dynamite, the Tim Tebow of film... It sucks so bad, but you can't look away...

Personally I only could tolerate 30 minutes of the movie, because it was killing brain cells at an exponential rate....

It's just the art style they used. Honestly if it was the same as the Simpsons or Family Guy it wouldn't look as good as you think.
