Agree. But numbers have to be attached to that. And hardware. Immediately.
why?
Standards, expectations, tradition, resources, facilities, talent. The ONLY missing link has been coaching. I'm totally fine with Pelini's firing, but there should be no backpedaling on where we go from here.
so the next coach should be afforded less of a chance, less time, than bo?
Yes
#NoExcuses The board could be fun next year IF it's a 7-5 type of season, the "apologists" and "haters" will switch roles.

The "national media" doesn't speak with one voice. It's a bunch of different guys with different opinions. Sometimes they change their minds and/or contradict themselves.

Pretty much like this board.

I agree with the firing but It should have been done last year. Expectations is what sets Nebraska apart from the Iowa's of the world and why the Big Ten added them in the first place.

Big problem is that you are competing against two open jobs that are more attractive than Nebraska. Do you go with a top OC or an established coach??
Hell, last year Texas and USC jobs came open. Not to mention Washington. It will be hard to pick a year when Nebraska would be the 2nd best job to come open.

These are a lot of the same Idiots that were happy when DONU fell on its face and couldn't get back up. Its kinda funny considering they are the ones trying to kick us back down over and over again.
