NCAA National Semifinals: Huskers vs Pittsburgh

Our volleyball program is so incredible to witness, wow. 

Also incredible that even though we are clearly the pinnacle and mecca and gold standard of the sport, the country seems to always find ways to underrate us. I'm fine with that, makes it that much more fun to support.

Exactly.  It was a friggen joke that we were a 10 seed.

To clarify, this isn't like the basketball tourney where there are 4 of each seed 1-16, there are just 16 seeds total and the rest are un-seeded.  We are THE 10 seed, meaning #10 in the country, not one of 4 10 seeds which puts a team around 40th in the country.  We had 7 regular season losses, #10 was entirely appropriate.  A 10 seed in volleyball is the equivalent of a 3 seed in the basketball tourney.

I was going post the same thing. Hard to argue about the seeding when you have a 21-7 record and every team above us has between 0 and 6 losses. Maybe some feel we should be top seeded just because we are Nebraska and the whole world is out to get us?
