Nice stats Nameless. Nebraska and KU stack up pretty even on paper. I think if NU starts off hot on offense and actually stops KU on defense, that it will be a good day for the Scarlet and Cream.

Ive been way off the last 2 games or so, im making no predictions for this game, im going to sit in my chair, and hopefully by the end of the game, I dont have to return to the hospital for another back surgery.

Those stats are really depressing. The only "dominance" we have is with T.Nunn returning punts..... then I realize that most of the recent games Nunn is on the bench and Grixby is our punt returner. Go figure!

Go figure go back to the mizzo game and watch how he carries the ball, the play when he gets stipped around the 3 yard line. That is why he is not the full time punt returner he doesn't secure the ball!

 
At least we are making progress. But we need to work on our running game. We are doing well in the red zone but we aren't getting there often enough.

Im sorry still watchin, I respect the talent that both Lucky and Glenn have, and Im glad they are getting carries because Ross needs breaks, but thats just it, the only reason they should be in there right now is to give a change up or Ross a breather, Ross is the man here at Nebraska, and rightfully so. Our Oline is the problem, not Ross.

 
Now that I'm over my temper tantrum, I see one stat we should all be proud of. The best player on our team is our punter. He should be a shoe in for All American, and he will eventually be playing on Sundays. I don't know if it's a record or not, but having nearly 1/2 of your punts placed inside the 20 is an amazing stat. He has kept NU's offense out of a lot of trouble this year. Against OU, I believe he had a 58 or 59 yard punt into the wind. He's the MVP so far this year IMO.

BTW, I think our frosh. kicker is a stud as well. I don't care if he can hit a 50 yarder or not. We should never have to put him in that situation unless the half is about to expire. The special teams for the most part have been special in terms of the kicking game. We need to be applauding the efforts of Congdon and Koch!
