Is it ironic that those of us who want Notre Dame to win have to pull for an independant to end the SEC's run?

Yes, I am pulling for Notre Dame for the obvious Husker fan's reason (though it's clear according to ESPN that our 3 titles in 4 years never really happened). The issue is I just dont see Notre Dame winning this game as it nears. Nick Saban. Alabama. They've been there. Done that. Like our Husker teams of 95 and 97. It was all business, and like Florida in 95, Notre Dame is just happy to be here. I hope I'm wrong, but i just feel when Bama takes that field, it's business as usual. When Notre dame takes the field, it's the National Championship game.

My last gripe about ESPN is this. Why not give us a little love. It's not like Bama's doing more than we did. Christ, they lost 2 fricking home games in this supposed dynasty that only "equals" Nebraska. Just a mention of it would appease me.

 
Nick Saban breaks a leg, cameras catch Brian Kelly shoving a jelly donut in his mouth, and a Playmate streaking. Going for entertainment since we'll have to hear about it for 20 years no matter who wins.

 
Catholics vs Convicts.

Neither. I will most likely root for Bama because i can't stand the superiority Catholics think they all deserve. However i don't want to hear about how Bama's run for NC's were as good as Nebraska's, because they weren't even close.

Im a catholic and I hate ND. there cocky attitude on how they are too good to join a conference really bothers me.

I am Catholic as well and dislike their elitist garbage that they spew. It has long been a REAL Catholic School.
