Shirek just escaped a jam on the mound...had the bases juiced with 1 out...pitching coach comes out for a visit and then he strikes out the next guy for 2 outs. Next batter pops out to foul territory.

 
Shirek is killing us in the 5th. They are just flat out sending his pitches for rides. 4-3 is not the score as Shirek gave up 3 runs. He's out now as there is 2 outs and still 2 on...

 
Not looking good as of lately...we need to score some after we get out of this inning. It is now tied at 4 with creighton still up to bat, with 2 outs and runners at the corners. We are already on our 4th pitcher...as Jensen just came in...

 
BRANDON BUCKMAN BREAKS THE TIE IN THE 9TH WITH A HOMERUN...thats our lead, 5-4...now lets try and get a couple more, with 1 out and one on, then hold them to win it!

 
Huskers at bat in 9th is over after 2 runs come in after 4 hits...nice time to score some runs! now lets just leave the rest up to the pitching...

 
Great game! Especially since I'm "home" and got to watch with my Mom! I was born and raised about a mile from Rosenblatt Stadium. Lots of memories from the old College World Series and Royals games. Go Big Red! Hope to see them in the CWS again this year!
