NeB vs. Wiscy Vid...

i like watching nebraska do well.

couple of thoughts:

1. i feel bad for stave. he got wrecked.

2. watching the game i really did not notice the alt. unis. they do look pretty cool and i think they are good as alt. unis.
I would like to see the number colors reversed. White with a black outline. it just made it too difficult to tell who was who, especially from 80 rows up. And stick with our white helmet. and just do it once a year. and stop the hubbub with the shoes. and........

they should switch it up each year.

I watched the whole game again and was struck by how the game could have gone a completely different way on any number of individuals plays.

We were a play or two away from getting blown out. A play away from simply getting beaten. And not that many plays away from enjoying a blowout of our own.

Funny game.

BUFF Flyover. Nice!
Usually our flyover planes do their thing and leave town. For some reason those F18s stuck around and did some more flying around on Sunday. Shook up the west end of town.
Ok I'm confused. In the first video and on TV they show the B-52 flyover. But at our tailgate it was two F18s that went over head (god I love those things). So where there two sets of planes or did the TV just use stock footage that everyone else copies?

The tv broadcast mustve showed footage of a past tunnel walk. I had texts from brother and friend asking about them wearing normal uniforms. i told them they were in alternates. They said they had just seen the tunnel walk on tv and they were in the normal ones, but the tunnel walk wasnt happening for another 10 minutes.

The B-52 flyover was for Arkansas State.

Just a shoutout to my buddy who puts together the HuskerAthletics youtube highlights each week. He had a hell of a week, and I'm sure that everybody that watched the game on TV saw him get blasted on the sideline.

He broke his $8,000 demo fs700 camera and had to get carted off on the stretcher, neck brace and all for a hospital visit. He's fine, it was all precautionary because was feeling woozy after the hit. Took it like a champ though and still got the highlights up.

He took a pretty good lick and popped right back up. How fast can he run a 40?

The run by Janovich (#35) was the highlight play of the game for me. Good to see a fullback who is hard to bring down again at NE

I think I was mistaken. That's Burkhead about 5 minutes in. Liked the new unis, but it makes it hard to see the numbers.

I have the whole game recorded, could have sworn the announcer mentioned he had a carry

Awesome video, btw

Loved seeing the 4th down stop again. On second look, Smith had that bootleg snuffed out, should Wiscy have gone that route. I think it had been said earlier that the bootleg was open, but I think that play was well designed and a good call.

From watching the video a couple more times, it looked to me like Whaley shot through the gap and had the play stuffed no matter which way it went. I think if O'Brien would have kept the ball on the naked bootleg, Whaley would have drug him down right away also. If he didn't get him, I think Smith would have.

$8,000 for a camera? my first car cost a fraction of that. (in case you are interested, it was a bangin' a$$ dodge avenger, loved that thing).

Man. How many times did Montee Ball run into the back of that left gaurd. Awesome vid by the way. :thumbs
