Got a pretty good shot of this thing today. It's pretty sharp, but I'm still not sold on the font for the numbers.

Not being a Nebraska guy, no skin on the game of the tradition v. new opinion, but I like the black for one game. That said, there are two things I don't like about them: the numbers font as you stated and the "webbing-like" look on the shoulders

 
I don't know if I have the right page for this but it looks we made a slight change to our home jerseys this year. Look at the webbing on the shoulders.

Yeah, its the same deal with the new black ones--no stake in the game, but me no likey the webbing (silly Adidas)
