Woah what, black helmets are official now? I'm surprised there hasn't been an uproar, you know, the kind that burns down internets.

I actually don't like the football alternates. And yeah, I wish those were matte black helmets for sure.

 
I absolutely love our new practice jerseys! I think we should consider wearing these for a few games or as, and don't kill me for saying this, our new unis.

They're almost paying homage to our 70s and 80s unis. The stripes (although there is three) are like the ones from the 70s and the "N" on each side is like from the 80s.

I really dig the practice jerseys too. A heckuva lot more than the alternates. I'd love it if they sold replica jerseys of the practice ones. I was planning on picking up one of the alternates, but I'm not exactly thrilled with the idea of wearing that.

 
The more exposure I have with those alt-unis (especially in daylight and without a weak horns section blaring in the background) the more I like them. No, they're not going to stick around... but shoot... if the players (and future recruits) like 'em for one game, then so do I.

YES, Corncraze! I love em too. As soon as I saw them when the NUEquipment posted them on twitter I thought: "This is what the new uniform should have looked like."
