Nebraska at Kansas State

Eleven of Gary's rebounds were offensive. Bruce Williams had 10 & 9 - if he had gotten one more rebound NU would have had three players with double doubles.

I did not watch the game.  But in watching the recap, we still have players taking bad shots - Tominaga, Whilcher & Lawrence.  Good win, but need better shot selection to be good teams.

Yeah, we still didn't shoot very well.  34% from the floor.  35% on 3s.  25% from the line (only four attempts).

But they were worse.  26% from the floor.  13% on 3s.

We did rebound like crazy, which is good.

But 62 points shouldn't blow much of anyone out.  It's been a mess in the KSU program all week.  Seems like it caught up with them in the second half.

A 16 point win in Manhattan.
Tale of 2 halves.

It's like KSU pulled a Nebrasketball in the 2nd half.  And the Huskers went all-Minnesota on them.

It feels good.  It feels good for once  chuckleshuffle

Very good win. I am impressed at the team bouncing back after the bad Minnesota loss (The Creighton loss, eh, Creighton is a team that even considering it's a rivalry game, a blowout loss doesn't bug me that much.)

Absolutely agree the shooting needs to improve, but, save against offensive juggernauts like Creighton, Nebraska's defense has been strong all season.
