What's with our pitchers making errors ?

Waldron does good getting out of jam with no runs scored
I assume just mental errors
It was a silly error. Tried to pickoff runner at first with a full count and runner got between Miller and ball-- had no chance to scoop it. Poor throw by Waldron, poor luck, and odd decision anyway.

Clutch base knock by Boldt for the RBI!
I was surprised SIlva called for it.

He calls everything even the pickoffs

Placzek snags a groundee, steps on third, and nails the runner at 1st for a huge 5-3 DP!

2 outs, runners at 1st and 2nd after a walk.

Wow. That seems odd for sure. I assume that's just a feel/instinct thing for most pitchers.

Btw, didn't mention it the other day when it was going around, but thanks for all you do in this subforum. You da real MVP man!

Thank you, I follow baseball closely, I played it all my life. I see what is done in the basketball forum and thought baseball is just as important.

Good job by Waldron to keep the damage to 2.
