Does everyone know the Budwiser "Real American Genius" commercials (used to be "heroes" instead of "genius" until 9/11)? Just heard one last night that made me think of this thread and laugh my a&& off...

Of note, I actually had an email exchange going between myself and another reporter on the LA Times staff that had written a particularly good article about our state a while back - not just focused on our football program. He is Dana Parsons, and he is a Nebraska native and UNL class of '71. He says he takes a lot of abuse around the office for it. I just looked on their web site and he's listed in the news section. I've sent him Simers' rant to see if we can renew our exchanges. Unfortunately, I also learned that Dufresne is now the national college football editor , so at least the paper has their a&&hole pecking order correct <_<
