It was stated that the assistants are guaranteed to be paid for the next 13 months. At the press conference TO said that he asked them to help with recruiting. When the new coach is hired and if any of these assistants aren't on that staff would they be allowed to continue to help with recruiting? I know years ago the staffs were much larger and there were recruiting assistants that never set foot on campus. Budget cuts were the main reason for cutting the staffs then but if these coaches are still being paid by the university......?

sounds like a good plan. The only problem i see is do you want coaches who are not going to be coaching recruting kids? So often we hear of athletes getting hooked on a coach not a school. That could be a downfall in my eyes

scouting maybe. but, being as lazy as i am, if i was getting paid nonetheless, i'd sit around on my a$$ and do nothing.
