Nebraska man legally changes name to "Tyrannosaurus Rex"

People do this from time to time. It's silly, but it's not news. I don't get why this is a big deal. It's on the front page of CNN and Yahoo, too.

As far as the guy who changed his name - whatever trips his trigger. Harmless fun.

 
Apparently that was actually his second choice for a name, when the court told him that 'Imastupidmoron' was already taken.

Well...at least it's not like a tattoo, and he can grow a brain and change it back. Isn't it like $450 to change your name these days?

 
I hope he has a black belt or two. With a name like that, its about the same as asking to get into fights.

 
I should change my name to Bo Pelini. That way every year when a coach is fired and he's rummored as a target for hire. I can use it as leverage for a pay raise at my job lol.
