I just found the game with a couple minutes left but Colorado St. was playing at Duke tonight on ESPN2. I hadn't checked on the Nebraska kids on CSU's roster lately but apparently they're doing fairly well.
Wes Eikmeier (Jr.) starts and scored 10 points. He's CSU's leading scorer at 17.5 ppg including 42% on 3s.
Dwight Smith (So.) starts and had 7 pts and 4 rebs. He's averaging 6.8 ppg and 3.3 rpg.
Greg Smith (Jr.) was the star for CSU tonight. He came of the bench and put in 18 pts and had 7 rebs. Averaging 10.8 and 5.0)
Jesse Carr (Jr.) got 10 minutes off the bench and had a rebound and two assists to show for it. He's averaging 8.8 pts and 3.4 rebs while shooting 48% on 3s.
I'll be the first to admit that I didn't think Eikmeier was Big XII (at the time) material but thought Carr might be worth a look. I know there were a lot of arguements for the Smith brothers. Not that any of this means that Nebraska should have grabbed them but that's a pretty good set of stats in one of the toughest places to play in the country (90 straight non-conference home wins for Duke).
