Nebraska Opening Drives, Hot Start?

Was Listening to Happer and Schaefer the other day and another beat writer mentioned needing a hot start against Purdue.

I was thinking we had done anything but start hot all year. Our only TD on an opening drive was vs NW. 

My big takeaway is sans the Illinois and Minnesota game we've come out strong in the 2nd half.

We have actually had good drives to start the game in 4 of our last 6.  The plays were there vs Minnesota, Adrian just missed his receivers.  I think, especially given the of week to prepare, we will start fast against Purdue.

 
Wasn’t it just last year that we scored almost every time on our first drive then couldn’t in the second half?  Now it’s just the opposite. 
 

I guess we can say they are making adjustments at half anyway.
