Nebraska plays PSU tomorrow...

Why Mark Richt over Bo? Richt hasn't really done anything Bo hasn't done. I don't understand why people oogle over this guy, when he can't win the SEC with all the talent he has had there.
What? Is this like the time you said Michigan State plays the hardest schedule in the conference this year? You have a knack for being really wrong about stuff, you know.

I was wrong about that schedule part, and I admitted that. But really, Mark Richt is a Bo Pelini of the SEC. Am I wrong?

Peterson or Tressel. Tressel has the recruiting edge. Haven't seen urban meyer secure all the top ohio talent this year so i bet tressel can wheels us in some of OH's best prospects

We can resume this conversation when Bo Pelini wins a couple conference titles and finishes in the top 10 and/or top 5 several times.

Richt has 3 Sugar Bowl (biggest bowl game of his tenure) appearances in 13 years. Last one being in 2007. He has yet to have had an undefeated conference season. I am not impressed with him. Sorry.

I have also seen you post in here on how overrated the SEC is, and how many of them shouldn't be ranked as high as they are. Maybe this is also why Richt becomes favorable in the polls, because they are overrated? Last year was his best team in a century, He couldn't beat Alabama, and couldn't pull away from us until the 4th quarter last year. His team last year was WAY more talented than we were.

Didn't want to get sucked in.....dammit. Ugh, last year was that not an impressive season? 3 yards shy of a National Championship appearance?

Impressive sure, but did he win it, or get there? No. Its funny how we can be so defensive for an opposing coach, but throw ours under the bus every chance we get.

Not throwing Bo under any Bus........frankly the man terrifies me. And I like that in my coach.

+1

Bo definitely has a number of missteps, but it seems like after every loss the last couple of years the fanbase is calling for a new coach.

I am just saying, if Richt was here, and has his record he has now, he would have been fired in 2010 with a 6-7 record after following an 8-5 record in the previous season. I have yet to see Bo have that record, with less talented players. Last year was probably the least talented defense he has had, probably ever, and we still got a 9 win season. Says a lot about coaching IMO. I would like to see what Bo could do with the talent Georgia has.

Eh, if Richt were here and he had a 6-6 year in maybe his 2nd year, there would be sympathy about injuries. But if Right were 7-3 in his say, 6th year, injuries would be called a "convenient excuse".

See what I did there?
