Nebraska to start playing at Qwest Center????????

Press conference tomorrow @ 2pm?? This is all according to the Matt Perrault show. They are playing Oregon there and now Creighton fan is pissed.

Listen Perrault.....they had to play at a neutral sight and it only makes sense to play it at a venue 50 miles away. Plus it's Omaha's facility with Omaha's money. He's just pissed because Dana's back rub last night wasn't as sensual as usual and the spooning was a little lackluster..........

Perrault is the biggest tool this side of the Mississippi. He has only been in the Nebraska area for a few years and he thinks he knows everything. Listen Matt, Qwest Center Omaha is owned by the city of Omaha and is operated by MECA. Their main objective is to do one thing and one thing alone and that is to make MONEY! This will be the first UNL basketball game in a long long time where Nebraska fans can drink at the game. That alone will make the Qwest money. Are you mad that UNO plays hockey there? What about the AVCA Showcase that UNL is in that is being held at the Qwest. It is NOT Crreighton Arena. Get a clue or get out of Nebraska.

One of my favorite comments he has ever made (I listen to hear what dumbass things he says) was when he kept preaching about "The QWEST is for Creighton...it even has their colors" Last time i checked Qwest used a blue color scheme. Apparantely the entire company changed for Creighton. He is such an :asshat

 
He was talking about this again the last few days saying "if youre a Creighton fan and you go to the game (NU vs CU) with a Husker fan you shouldnt go. blah blah blah, just goes to show you what arrogant rich ****** Creighton is. I hate that school/program.

 
Why did they raise season ticket prices this year, when last year they couldnt even sell out with them being $99 bucks?

Actually it has to do with hosting post-season play. To be considered as a regional site and play at the Qwest it has to be a facility that they have used for regular season play.

This is the same reason Nebraska Volleyball hosts the AVCA Showcase and plays some of their regular season games @ Qwest.

Living in Lincoln, I've never heard this perrault guy, but he sounds like one hell of a gigantic douchebag. :thumbs

 
I dont think we'll be playin all the way in omaha but even if we did it would only be until the new arena is built here in lincoln (if they build it anyway, which I think they will and need to do!)
