yea me tootrue very similiar..except UW wears all white for the road..since we're talking about uniforms , kinda wish NU woud go back to plain red pants- no stripes for the road. just like in the mid 90's
Maybe we should trademark our shade of red so we can sue them and small, locally-owned businesses who make t-shirts in support of the team.copyright infringement, the only thing seperating the two is the big fat W on the side of the helmet.
Calahan copied Wisconsin, go back to the title yaers, no stripes 95-97!Wisconsin just sued Washburn U here over the 'bods use of the "W"
Washburn was already $150k in to defense costs when they agreed to cease and desist using it. Wisky's is red and Washburns was blue and NOT identical.
Washburn just didn't have the deep pockets to defend.
I don't think all-red would be that bad for a big game every once in awhile. My uncle was @ the NU-OU game in '87 or '88 when the team came out in all red and he said the place went ape sh!t (still lost). If they did do it, it would be cooler if the fans and media didn't know about it until the team came out of the tunnel. No, no, no. No all-white or all-red. They just look like they are playing in their longjohns. Gross.
